Bitcoin rises along with other cryptocurrencies after President Trump's announcement of a two-week cease-fire with Iran improved sentiment toward risky assets. Cryptocurrencies continue to behave as macroeconomic-driven assets, Saxo Bank analysts say in a note. Crypto "responds quickly to improving risk sentiment but the durability of the move will depend on whether geopolitical stability holds and whether institutional flows remain supportive," they say. Bitcoin rises 3.2% to $71,353 after reaching a three-week high of $72,679 overnight, LSEG data show.
